Brightwater LodgeThis unique hand crafted house enjoys the most glorious south facing position overlooking Loch Sunart and the tidal island of Eilean Mor. The elevated position offers guests privacy and stunning views of the everchanging light on land and loch. Otters and Sea Eagles have been seen from the comfort of the sitting room. During the winter months the house enjoys every moment of sunlight from dawn to dusk. We have a Silver grading from the Green Tourism Scheme and are commited to offering the highest possible comfort and quality whilst minimising our impact on the natural environment. Solar panels and an air source heat pump ensure the house is heated using natural energy sources wherever possible. The south facing floor to ceiling double glazed cathedral windows also heat the house. There is underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor and an open log fire for extra comfort and character. The house sleeps 4. Both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a super king bed with sliding patio doors leading to the garden seating area and barbecue. The generous bathroom has a wet room with rain shower and a spa bath. Upstairs there is a twin bedded room with an ensuite bathroom also with a spa bath. Egyptian cotton sheets are supplied for all beds. The tasteful use of quality soft furnishings make the bedrooms the ideal sanctuary in which to relax and unwind. The living space is striking in the use of full height cathedral windows framed by massive Norway Spruce tree trunks. The view beyond is breathtaking. The substantial hand carved stair case and overhead beams are key features.
