Welcome to Glenmore Holidays, home of luxury self-catering on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, on Scotland’s beautiful west coast. If you are looking for a family holiday in comfort and style or a luxurious romantic break please take a moment to explore our houses.
We have 3 strikingly different properties all offering privacy and an opportunity to relax in quality accommodation with stunning sea views. Each is unique in character and style with under-floor heating, log fires, wet rooms with spa baths big enough for two, soaring floor to ceiling windows and an inspiring use of local wood and stone.
Enjoy luxury self-catering amidst some of the wildest and most spectacular scenery of Scotland’s west coast. Ardnamurchan is rich in wildlife with frequent sightings of pine martens, otters and eagles. Explore shell sand beaches and ancient oak woodlands. On Loch Sunart and beyond discover seals, dolphins and possibly even a basking shark or whale. The area is home to red deer, otters, pine martens and even the increasingly rare Scottish wildcat.
We are committed to providing an excellent quality service while also minimising the environmental impact of our activities. Our houses are heated by solar panels and ground and air source heat pumps. We have planted an extensive Broadleaved woodland to offset carbon dioxide emissions. We encourage our guests to walk, cycle, kayak and take public transport wherever possible. By encouraging sustainable practice we hope to ensure the continued enjoyment of Glenmore for future generations. We have already done much to reduce our impact on the environment and we are intent on maintaining our commitment to green tourism and exploring new ways of enhancing biodiversity and minimising our environmental impact.
