Luxury self catering with stunning sea views, Glenmore Cottage is bright, cosy and an ideal spot for wildlife watching…
The open plan living room faces south with spectacular floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of Glenmore Bay. With a rare stretch of saltmarsh and a pond in the foreground, it is an ideal spot for herons, curlew and geese. Pine martens are regular visitors. Otters have even been seen from the comfort of the sofa! We farm sheep and pedigree Highland Cattle and as the cottage overlooks our main field for lambing and calving, depending on the season, there is always something of interest.
Glenmore Cottage sleeps 4 in one double bedroom and one twin. The double bedroom has an adjacent bathroom with a spa bath and shower. The twin room has an en-suite wet room.
Underfloor heating throughout the living room and bathrooms makes the cottage warm and welcoming. An open log fire adds to your comfort. The cottage has Broadband and internet access.
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a separate drying room for jackets and boots. The enclosed, south facing garden has a stone built barbecue and picnic table.
“The Cottage is great and really well equipped.”
“We have had a lovely time here, a very relaxing place with superb views. The Highland Cattle are a real bonus.”
“We have been entertained by pine martens most evenings, saw a wild cat from the Kilchoan road and a parade of dolphins east of Sanna Point – it doesn’t get much better!”
